This Domain Registration Policy applies to domain searches, registrations, transfers, renewals, DNS services and related requests made through Intek Host. Domain services are also subject to the rules of the relevant registry, registrar, ICANN policies for applicable generic domains and the laws governing the selected extension.

1. Availability and successful registration

A search result is not a reservation or guarantee. A domain is registered only after the order, payment, required information and registry transaction are successfully completed. Another party may register the name before completion.

2. Registrant information

You must provide accurate and current details for the person or organisation entitled to control the domain. False, incomplete or outdated information may lead to verification requests, suspension, transfer restrictions or cancellation under registry or registrar rules.

You authorise the use and disclosure of registration information as reasonably required to process the domain, maintain records, provide registry services, comply with law and handle disputes. Privacy or proxy services are available only where supported.

3. Registration period and renewal

A domain is registered for a limited period. You are responsible for monitoring expiry information and completing payment before the renewal deadline. We may send reminders as a convenience, but failure to receive a reminder does not remove your responsibility to renew.

Renewal prices may differ from registration prices and may change when registry or supplier fees change.

4. Expiry and restoration

When a domain expires, connected websites and email may stop working. The registry or registrar may provide grace, redemption or restoration periods, but these vary and are not guaranteed. Additional recovery fees may apply. After deletion, the domain may become available to another person.

5. Transfers

A transfer may require the domain to be eligible, unlocked and supported by an authorisation or EPP code. Verification messages may be sent to the registered contact. Recent registration, recent transfer, disputes, expiry status or registry rules may delay or prevent a transfer.

6. DNS and nameservers

You are responsible for providing correct DNS or nameserver values. DNS changes can take time to propagate and incorrect records may interrupt websites, email or verification services. Keep a record of the previous settings before a significant change.

7. Restricted and reserved names

Some extensions have eligibility, documentation, local-presence, naming, content or use requirements. Registries may reserve, reject, suspend or delete names under their policies. You are responsible for confirming that the name and intended use do not violate third-party rights or applicable law.

Domains may be subject to registry dispute policies, court orders, intellectual-property claims or lawful authority requests. Intek Host may lock, preserve, suspend or transfer a domain when required by an applicable process or provider instruction.

9. Domain ownership and control

Domain registration gives the registered holder the right to use the name during the active registration period, subject to applicable rules. It is not a permanent purchase of the name. Keep account access and registrant contact details secure.
