Effective date: 24 July 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to every Intek Host account, website, domain, mailbox and related service. It protects customers, visitors, networks and the reputation of the platform.
1. Lawful use
You may use the services only for lawful purposes and in a way that respects the rights of others. You are responsible for content, software, users and activity connected to your account.
2. Prohibited content and activity
You must not use the services to:
- operate phishing, impersonation, fraud or deceptive schemes;
- distribute malware, malicious scripts, credential-stealing pages or harmful code;
- send unsolicited bulk messages, purchased-list campaigns or abusive email;
- host or distribute content that unlawfully infringes copyright, trademarks, privacy or other rights;
- threaten, harass, defame or unlawfully expose personal information;
- facilitate unauthorised access, attacks, scanning, disruption or interference with systems or networks;
- conceal or misrepresent the source of abusive traffic or messages;
- operate illegal marketplaces, prohibited financial schemes or services that violate applicable law;
- use excessive resources in a way that materially degrades service for others; or
- resell or share services contrary to the selected product terms.
3. Email and messaging
Business mailboxes must not be used as bulk-marketing infrastructure. Commercial messages should be permission-based, accurately identify the sender and provide an appropriate opt-out. You must respect sending limits, reputation controls and applicable anti-spam rules.
4. Security responsibilities
Keep applications, plugins, themes and credentials secure. Remove abandoned software and test files. If your service is compromised, cooperate with reasonable containment and remediation steps. We may temporarily restrict access to protect the account or wider platform.
5. Resource use
Use CPU, memory, storage, bandwidth, database and email resources in a manner consistent with the selected plan. Activities that create sustained or abnormal load may require optimisation, an upgrade, temporary restriction or migration to a more suitable service.
6. Complaints and enforcement
We may investigate complaints and technical indicators, request information, remove or disable content, limit traffic, suspend a service or terminate an account. Urgent action may be taken without advance notice where there is a serious security, legal or operational risk.
Where appropriate, we may preserve relevant records and cooperate with registries, providers, rights holders or lawful authorities.
7. Reporting abuse
Report suspected abuse to support@intekhost.net with the domain, URL, time, description and any safe supporting evidence. Do not send passwords or sensitive personal information unnecessarily.
